Rules

Say a rule once, in your words. Every agent you connect asks before it acts: inside the rule it just works, with a receipt; outside it, it asks you.

How to say a rule

In any connected AI or in Nuramem’s own apps, the way you save anything:

“nura, Leo can order DoorDash up to $30 an order”

“nura, no agent spends more than $200 a week on groceries”

“nura, ask me before any agent buys anything on Amazon”

“nura, no agent ever gets the kids’ data”

A rule says who it is about, which agent (or every agent you connect), and what: spending at a merchant or in a category, or sharing a kind of detail — an address, a phone number, an email, a birthday, a location, a school, a calendar. It allows, refuses or asks you. A spending rule can cap each order, or set an allowance per day, per week or per month. A rule can expire. Nuramem shows you the rule as it understood it, in plain words, before it counts.

Confirmed on your phone

A rule is confirmed only on your phone — never by email or inside a chat, because agents read both now. A rule that narrows what agents may do takes effect at once. One that widens it takes effect only after your phone says yes, with Face ID or your fingerprint. A chat can never confirm its own widening.

What an ask looks like

When an agent wants to do something outside your rules, your phone shows it the way the agent asked: who, how much, where, the rule it is over, and the agent’s own reason in quotes. You have three answers:

An ask nobody answers expires. The answer comes from code, from your rules and what has already been spent — never from a model.

Someone else can answer

Say “nura, Peter can approve for me while I’m away” and Peter’s phone gets the asks you would have. In a team, asks go to the admins, or to a named approver: “no agent spends over $500 without Peter’s approval”.

Pause everything

One tap freezes every agent you connect, everywhere, until you lift it. You can also pause or revoke one agent from Agents in the app.

Which agents ask today

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot and Gemini over the connector, and any agent company that integrates the Nuramem permission check. Muse, Grok and other closed agents are coming. Using an agent that isn’t here yet? Ask its maker for the permission check.

Reading the record

Every ask and every answer — allowed, asked, refused — is on one record you can read in the app, under Rules and Agents, and in chat: “nura, show my rules”, “nura, what can Muse spend?”. The record names categories and amounts, never your card number or address. Nuramem never holds a card and never moves money.
